Ever dreamt a dream and woke the next day
To find a massive desire, to leave home and run away?

And realize that all around you everyone feels the same?
Ever cut your skin, just to see how much it harms,
And then a month later seen the same, on your friend’s arms?
Ever thought of dying just because you want your pain to end?
and then heard the same words coming from a friend?
Ever held a knife and stabbed it in your skin,
but just before it hits your family walks in.
Ever tried to choke yourself with a scarf around your collar,
and when you face goes blue your friends begin to holler.
Ever tried to spread your wings flutter them and fly
and then fell flat on your face before you touched the sky.
Ever found something you love then got it taken away,
And “you can have it next year” was the best thing the could say.
Ever loved a love that grew incredibly strong,
And then told someone and they said it was ‘wrong’.
Ever dreamt of hope and felt it in your heart,
But then this chick walks in your life and tears it all apart.
Ever wanted something simple, like to have the right to be in choir,
But were not allowed to do it because your happiness is not that dire?
Ever walked around the shops, and got stared at for being you,
And hid the pain you felt and kept on pushing through?
Ever being called a ‘stalker’ from admiring the wrong one?
Ever wanted just a little money but got told to live with none?
