You Wear a Mask

by inaudible confessions   Jan 8, 2005

The stories are there
hidden behind your eyes
the truth is disguised
covered by your lies

you have locked it all up
trying not to be exposed
wearing fake smiles
keeping yourself composed

but when you are alone
your facade falls apart
and all you are left with
is a shattered lonely heart

for you feel so worthless
so obsolete and out of place
but nobody ever sees
the sadness in your face

the depression overwhelms you
making you feel so weak
and tears from your eyes
creep down your cheek

so every night you cringe
with every breath you take
and you hate to fall asleep
knowing you might wake

*Yeah, this is really random and REALLY bad, but i was extremely bored. please comment/vote. thanks*
