The Poor Girl

by Phoenixgoddess   Jan 8, 2005

So young, but yet so dead,
No one heard her cries, nor listened to a word she said.
They ignored her, like litter on the streets,
Nor did they know it was death, she would soon meet.
She tried to tell them as easy as she could,
But still they did not listen, she didn't think they would.

No matter how much she cried, her tears were still useless,
She kept praying and praying that God would get her out of this mess.
She tried not to cut herself, but with that goal she failed,
She didn't think it was possible, because she lived right in hell.
When others came to her she listened and helped,
But when it was she who needed help they didn't wanna know how she felt.

She wondered if that was why the people ignored her,
Because they thought she couldn't be helped or known anymore.
Sbe wondered if they even really knew the real her inside,
If her life was a roller coaster, she'd take them for a ride.

But the ride would be painful,
because they'd see all of her pain,
Tears would be pouring everywhere, just watching would make them insane.
The girl could not bare it anymore so, she thought she always wanted to fly,
She went up to the nearest, highest building, and soared up to heaven after she jumped and died.
