THE PERSON THAT TOOK MY PLACE

by tasha   Jan 8, 2005

Happy eyes a warm face
a smiling person takes my place
walking by my side so near
i wonder if she feels my fear
of how I'm going to make it through this week
my head is numb my life so bleak
nothing is worth it now
i hate her shes a spiteful cow
and now hes gone i cant take any more
bury me 6 foot under the floor
she forced those tears
she faked those cries
she blackmailed you
she told those lies
she doesn't love you
she doesn't care
as long as her walking checkbooks there
and when you find this letter Hun
i want you to know you were the one
and if you were here holding me so tight
i may have been able to get through tonight
a packet of pills some whiskey too
a knife a blade
a photo of you
my blood drips on your happy face
as i think of the person thats took my place

That was so good. I could feel everything in that. I love the last little bit...very powerful. Amazing poem, congratulations.
