Darkness

by wayne t   Jan 9, 2005

Peering into dense Forrest, such an evil abode,
Sun on high, no light for my eye to see past-
The trees, into darkness Erie, forlorn, and cold,
But drawn to the Forrest, ti's the decaying part of my soul,

If only could muster courage to enter, answers will be told,
Heart of mine, given to another long ago, only to be torn-
And ripped to shreds from the sword of love long since dead,
Standing at edge, chest flowing blood wounded by her hand,

Fully knowing i must enter this abode, retrieve my soul,
Oh spirits protect my body as i hunt again, to be whole,
A shell of once filled with passion, kindness, and love,
Deeply i ascend finding only roses scorned by whom i loved,

Holding them close to my bleeding chest, thorns scratching-
My weaken flesh, wounds burning,by tears from mine eyes,
An agonizing wale thrusting fourth only heard by me,
Ti's no one else in this hell hear or care,

Wishing someone end this torture- Beleaguered spirit, goddess, angle of love,
Ti's thy body, ghostly ebbs of life flowing unto the dark Forrest floor,
Eyes weakly gaze upon an orb moving from high trees,
Soothing warm light bathing me, hole in thy chest ,

Breathing once more i feel heart beating,
Blood flowing, quenching a new soul, rising up,
In enveloping haze, the lady of love, her arms are reaching out
Holding me to her bosom, she restores me a soul, and i reaching
upward as she leaves, sun is shinning Thu the trees.
