Blood and Chocolate

by mookoo   Jan 9, 2005

Moon waning,
Stretching it’s mighty limbs,
It’s runs brilliantly through the deep sunset mist,
Mighty stature, broken only by sword and shield,
Eyes on golden-green staring into the mist,
Glowing as the stars do,
Searching for the next meal,
Running through the gentle brush,
Fur of deep ebony gets heavier with water,
Snatching through the bramble for prey,
Teeth like razors bite through flesh,
Blood gushes into it’s mouth,
Warm and streaming,
Dropping it’s meal,
Staring for rivals,
And there be none to find,
Ripping the animal apart with it’s strong jaws,
Swallowing it piece by piece,
Unable to resist the temptation of blood,
Mortal of severe encounter,
The werewolf,
Changing back at dawn,
To the human form of a young girl,
Misfortunate and accursed,
Lying unconscious and unclothed,
Weak and vulnerable,
Yet mighty and vicious,
Waking slowly and unable to stand,
Wishing to clear her mouth of the vulgar taste of blood,
Yet wishing only to have more,
She waits for returned strength,
Thinking of the previous night,
Unaware of the night’s events
Only hoping the blood is animals,
Wishing for something delicious,
Chocolate,
Yet disturbed by it’s bitterness and unnatural flavor,
Confused,
Accursed,
Blood,
Chocolate,
The werewolf is always shunned,
Always confused,
Never satisfied.
