The magic of christmas

by speculative_scene   Jan 9, 2005

Sitting and watching the gracefully falling snow
Seeing my little town sparkling and aglow
So subtle, yet so sweet bells in the distance ring
The harmonious voices of carolers sing
The moon lights up the white snow making it shimmer
Never have i seen such a winter land's glimmer
My tall Christmas tree's lights are dancing and gleaming
At the very tip top, a bright star sits beaming
In the brick fireplace the log wood is burning
Memories of winters past in my head churning
Special Christmas dinners with the whole family
Waiting up for Santa ti see what he brought me
Even though those times are gone, the magic is still here
And hopefully it will be here for us next year
For without the magic, Christmas will go away
Without magic, Christmas is just another day

"Without magic, Christmas is just another day " its true...the most littlest things make Christmas special, and w/o them it would just be another boring day. i love the poem
