but they can't work it out
he says she flirts
though she's only messing around
but it makes him angry
and he can't stand his ground
what they cannot see
what they do not understand
is all either of them want
it to take the other's hand
he wants to hold her close
to kiss her in the rain
to whisper in her ear
and melt away her pain
she wants to feel his arms
wrapped around her waist
to gaze into his eyes
and get lost in his embrace
but neither take action
they will not budge
she spends her nights crying
while he holds a grudge
*Two of my friends really like eachother and they have gone out before, but it never really worked out.
