The car ride to their new home was a bit awkward. They really did not have anything to say except "Thank you" over and over. Both were as frazzled as a mouse who has lost his cheese. Landon rambled on slightly about his job. Sebastien just nodded and agreed. Ana felt as if she were in a museum, the way he kept looking her over. When they got home, Sebastien and Landon helped them with their things. The couples house was huge. It was an old mansion with red brick, it looked very much so like a state building *Side note: If anyone has seen D. East High, it looks like that school!* The two teens followed their new foster parents into the house, they walked in on a huge entry way with curving marble stairs. A cherry table stood to the side with various knick-knacks. Several pictures hung on the wall. Ana looked at the shined hard wood floor. She was almost afraid to walk on it, for fear her black boots might scuff it. Landon smiled kindly at them. "Kids don't worry about messing up the floor. This floor is older than i am, i am sure that it has had a little dirt on it from time to time." |
