Fear of a same tomorrow

Soaked in this wide spread ocean
i bathe in my tears surrounding
my charred heart empty of hope
all blood drained, no longer is pounding

lost my dignity on the way to the sea
misplaced whatever shred was left
the boundaries all fell, no longer am safe
trapped here on this forgotten shelf

collecting dust as it innocently falls
my only companion now being the air
left with nothing but cold and darkness
still, i haven't the strength to care

let myself run into your evil arms
wrap myself in your lies of love
block out the reasons to walk away
along with the sweet bitter taste of blood

in this world filled with so much hate
its hard to find a door to take
when your worst nightmare still holds your heart
the decisions seem impossible to make

my once clear mind now poisoned by yours
your touch now what i crave
just talking to you can make my day
in your presence i become your slave

take me away from this existence
from the fear of a same tomorrow
set me free from this winding maze
unlock every chain to this sorrow

wipe my mind from living memories
from the pictures framed in my mind
burn each one, throw away the ashes
to somewhere ill never find

let me rebuild the boundaries high
so i no longer remain this weak
paint pictures filled with colour and love
in this blackened soul, so empty, so bleak

free my spirit from your curse
find the power to erase the past
place a smile where my frown lies
please, find a way for that smile to last
