TIME

by Michael D Nalley   Jan 9, 2005

Time is like the Creator, with no beginning or end
But, time can be a bad enemy, or an awesome friend
It's unforgiving to the mortal body, as we can apprehend
As we go through the years, time always takes a dividend

Some think of their time on this lowly earth
As a thing of immeasurable worth
Some use it to prepare for eternal birth
Others think it is only for foolish mirth

I think I have been guilty to some degree
Of killing time, while time was killing me
I thought all of my precious time was free
Wasting time, can cost us an eternity

If the time within us is as plentiful as it's outer space
Could not, the love of God, fit in such a tiny place
If my eyes could see the smile on His beautiful face
You think I'd spend another second outside His embrace?
