Spirit Of The Sea

by wayne t   Jan 9, 2005

As i look thur jaded window pane,
you walk down sand covered lane,
a smile on your face, blowing a kiss,
slowly heading for surf beaten shore,
have my days with you been a dream,
all night, all day, i hold you in hand,
touching, tasting, emerged in erotic bliss,
have all i see or seen, just a dream,
still i taste the kiss upon your brow,
our passion twas parting for now,
in sorrow my hope has flown away,
can i not grasp, you from the waves,
walking, walking towards the evil deep,
while i weep, you walking silently away,
is this real, all that we see or seem, ti's
this all a dream to which i do not wake,
can see you walking in angry blue surf,
these days alas, have been a lonely dream,
was that her death in that hideous cold wave,
my lone imagining, or she's forever gone from me,
for now could solitary solace bring, drowning in
the terror of the sea, a most fitting grave, for me.
