Colors of the Rainbow

Do you take the time to notice,
The colors around you,
Or are you to busy,
Or just plain don’t want to…

The bright yellow sun,
The stormy clouds so gray,
The green grass that we play on,
Each and every day…

The purple violets,
The pretty pink rose,
The girls that decorate the flowers,
In a vase with bright red bows…

The kitten that is orange,
The sky that is blue,
The colors of the rainbow,
Are all around you…

Take the time to look,
Take everything around you in,
Cause there might be one day,
You’ll never see the colors again…
