Lost Her

She was only 7 months old
“But she was only a cat” people will say
I took care of her since 5 weeks old
I bottle fed her, but now she is gone
She went above and out of this world
Watching her stumble under the car
Was the terrible part
The other was saying goodbye
We took her to the vet but the doctors said she had to go
I kissed her on her forehead and said goodbye
She looked at me like “what is going on?”
I had to leave the room
I had to say, “put her down”
We waited and the doctors came out and said she had passed away.
