Goodbye

The hardest thing for me to do
was say goodbye to you
but this is how it has to be
its not working between you and me
a better girl you'll surely find
oh i think i must be losing my mind

ill be fine, of that I'm sure
my love for you, it was true and pure
I'll never regret that we got to meet
each touch, each kiss, was ever so sweet
i will love again,but it wont be you
i will make sure that love is true

the loneliness will go away

we cant be together, we're better apart

why it didn't work out, i do not know
but i surely do know one thing though
you were sent to me from God above
to show me what it is to love
my life will be better because of you
the memories will guide me through
