Dying Love

by ~iTdOnTmAtTeR823~   Jan 10, 2005

Your smile still haunts my nights,
Your face still roams my dreams.
It is a feeling I cannot fight,
No matter how easy it may seem.

You broke my heart,
Yet it still yearns for you.
I waited alone in the dark,
But you didn’t come so soon.

You waited for me to fall
For my soul to leave.
We had everything, you were my all.
Now it’s gone, still hard to believe.

You made me wait for so long,
You watched as I cried.
You knew what you did was wrong,
But still too stubborn to deny.

Now your voice is all I hear,
Your face is all I see.
You feel so far, yet your so near,
You can’t take this pain you did to me.

All I want is out
Away from your seducing hands.
All I want is out,
Let me go, just let me stand.

I was just too new for this,
It was all just too much.
Yet my heart will still ach for your presence,
My body for your touch.

Maybe on day you’ll realize
What you let go.
Your body will start yearning for mine
Then my answer will be \"no\".

Maybe someday our love will reunite,
As strange at it may seem.
It’ll live long like the night,
Or maybe only in my dreams.
