SILOM

by Miri   Jan 10, 2005

Friday night finally so near,
changes clothes, everything becomes so real.

One last brush of makeup,
keys, wallet and Mobile in the bag, she picks it up.

One last glance at her reflection,
ready to cross the intersection.

Enters the street and joy fills her heart,
a second home where she\'s not left apart.

Goes to the end of the street,
Visits her friends and feels her heart beat.

Enters the club, hears the music,
feels so safe and fantastic.

Orders her favourite drink,
sips a while and starts to blink.

Music fills her body and soul,
warmth flows through her veins that were so cold.

She\'s been sleeping a whole week,
but when Friday comes her real life she feels.

Dancing is what keeps her from drowning,
a place where she can finally be herself.

*I know its sucks, but this one I just had to put it up here...*
