Answer My Prayer

Dear God,

Please… help me in my time of sorrow,
My tears, myself, your call I borrow
I need you, Lord, I swear I’ll follow
Give me advice, today or tomorrow

I’m lonely, depressed, confused, and used
Lost, and frustrated, this was not choosed.
Help me now, Lord, or I’ll blow my fuse
I repeat, Lord, I’m lost and confused

I moved to this “sunshine” state this year
From a city so wondrous and clear
Of beauty, betrayal, and mostly fear
Please, bring me back, for I’ll love you dear.

I do not belong with ones so fake
Smiles from Satan, the evil snake
Turn me, roll me, and even shake
For I’m stuck in a dream, help me awake.

Turn back the clock, Please turn back the time
Although it was hard, it was there, and MINE
To give back those words “we’ll move and be fine”
Is all I want, Lord, to take back that line.

It’s all my fault I’m suffering now
I’m full of guilt why, Lord, and how?
How can they say, “Shut up, don’t have a cow”
I have no strength, no power just “POW!”

A hard hit, stabbing my heart and soul
How I feel, Lord: if I drown, don’t blow
Leave me there stiff, airless and cold
Help out my soul, guide it, console

Tell it that you answered my prayer
That now my time here’s no longer grayer
No longer filled with such sadness in layers
I spent my time well, no bench, I’m a player

Hear this lord, answer my prayer
