Do I really love you?

Every time I say I love you
My heart twinges.
Could it be true
If it makes me think twice?

Is it because I'm tired
Tired of falling too hard?
Or is it because I lost what I once desired
And now I'm not supposed to believe in love.

Do I know deep down
How hard this will be on my heart?
To only have a small part of you following me around
When I want it all?

I want to tell the world
How much I love you.
Then I want the world
To open up and swallow me whole.

Honestly, it all hurts my head
I don't know what to do,
Or what should be said.
For now I guess I'll stick with I love you too.

Not that great but oh well.
