180 DEGREES

by harold   Jan 11, 2005

The world spins 180 degrees,
Bringing the moon to its knees.
Showing me truth…
I have no riches,
I have no treasure.
I have no castle,
Or a diamond in the center.
I do have my heart, in which I want to share,
With someone so special it brings a scare.
To my life…and hers.
Moon parsing the clouds…shinning on us last night.
Wind cooling our souls from the excite…
Heat building up from two hearts joining paths.
Voice traveling only to create a new past.
Holding my hand every touch like silk.
Passion begins to stream…
My lips begin to yearn…
Only to know the power of yours
So soft so sweet I begin to weep
Like a fish out of water I cannot breath.
Hold my hand tonight…I promises no more lost dreams,
Look in my eyes and feel the extreme.
The world spins another 180 degrees.
Bringing the sun to its knees.
Showing me the truth…
I have honesty to share,
I have a smile to bear,
I have a hand to hold,
And a heart made of gold in which I would like you to wear.

I await for your answer…like a prince waiting for his lost love.
I await to know if the glass slipper is yours.
I await for the kiss to see if I change into your prince.
