Tears and Anxiety

The tears are streaming,
Down my face.
My insides are screaming,
Cuz you put me in my place.

Crying around you,
Is something I refuse to do.
I’m all alone,
And all I can do is moan.

I hurt so bad,
Cuz I thought you were so mad.
I do this too much,
I’m even afraid of your gentle touch.

I don’t think you would hurt me.
Well, not to a physical decree.
Emotionally: yes.
That is because I’m such a mess.

It’s not your fault, it’s mine.
All because I don’t know how to unwind.
