Our love reborn

“Look isn’t it him?!” retorted one
“Oh yes, it is just look at him run!”
Throughout the town, there was only one talk
One look at him & the sight would lock!

I was away unknown of the fact,
God was helping me with his own tact!
Busy in my world, breathing just to live,
I was unhappy, due to what I had to give…

It’s been 20 years since I had lost him
But even now at his thought my eyes fill to the brim
I see the grave with my eyes so damp,
My stomach felt a knot, I felt a cramp.

I lifted my eyes unable to blink
In front of me stood a sight that in my mind could not sink.
Is it true or am I dreaming???
Or is it a miracle, or just my true feelings?

He was standing right in front of me
Only with him I wanted to be…
I called out to him “Chris… my darling”
“I don’t remember since how long I have been waiting”

Ran into each other’s arms, we could hold it no longer
We had already lost lot of time of not being together.
I was shocked with what was happening…
My senses suddenly got numb and they stopped working

Am I dead too? Am I in heaven??
Or is it because of God’s pity, this boon I have been given…
Chris explained to me of God’s grace
He was reborn with the same soul and the same old face.

As he grew slowly memories took him back
To our immense love that we now don’t lack.
He could no longer stop to be back with me…
Just like waves cant stay away from the sea…

Now we are together, now and forever...
Can’t even think of living without you!
Not even after the sky stops being blue…
