Jagged Hole

by wayne t   Jan 11, 2005

'Tis always when love leaves my heart and soul,
never to leave quietly, but ripped out, a jagged hole,
ti's the reason my body, my spirit, oh so ever cold,
crimson blood flowing, taking passion, ability to love,
seeing my heart bursting out, leaving me feeling old,
o'er the years i should've learned from pain endured,
love ne'er leaves painlessly, always a jagged hole,
as time creeping slowly by, a tender scare appears,
if i try to love again, will i be ripped open as before,
woman of passion, wanting my soul, are you so bold,
to tread with me, the waters of inner stories untold,
giving into sensuous passion, desire, me into your heart,
oh sweet woman, my honor is steadfast, given to you,
take from me your fancy and your fill, 'tis mine to give,
but please sweet woman give me warning, if ever,
That you will be tearing out my heart, another jagged hole.
