Well, I have morals too,
And the truth is that I broke mine
The night I was with you.

I do understand that we can’t
Be together right now.
I do have some questions I need to ask
But I just can’t figure out how.

How could your feelings
Change over night?
I want to ask you these things
But I don’t want to fight.

I understand that
What we did is wrong,
But I really feel that
With you is where I belong.

So, back to the questions
That I have for you.
These feelings that I have
Did you have them too?

Were you just saying
The things you said?
Did you really mean them ,
Or were you messing with my head?

Is there someone else
That you care about?
Because I need to know
And that’s without a doubt!

Did you really mean that we will be together
In the future yet to come?
Should I believe all the
Things you said or only some?

I respect you telling
The truth to me.
What the future holds
I’ll just wait and see.
