Deep Thoughts

I'm just a lonely soul
Marching to and from life
Every single day
Is another full of strife

Battling with yourself
Is such a losing fight
Yet I do it constantly
Deep into the night

Over what is right or wrong
What was said or done
And now I'm in the dark
Without a single drop of sun

You locked me in a cell
And threw away the key
All I can hope for is
One day, you'll set me free
