Forced smiles

by BlackBrokenWings   Jan 12, 2005

A hidden person behind that face;
Trying to find her rightful place.
A forced smile is her daily mask,
What’s wrong? No one cares enough to ask.

The fake smile still remaining there;
Another emotion she wants to wear.
All the other masks are still a lie,
Her true identity locked but why?

Her sadness that nobody can see;
Hidden behind a smile that is smiled unhappily.
Someday she’ll say what she wants to,
But for now that mask hides what’s true.
