Company

I feel alone while in a room,
Of a hundred people surrounding me,
I feel so ignored,
With fifty people around me,
I feel like a ghost,
While in company of just twenty- five,
I feel left out, lost in the convo,
Around only twelve,
Six is a lot, too many different views,
I’m not like them, so I can’t contribute,
Three is like the rest, but it’s only two too many,
I feel, happy, and free in company of just me,
So leave me alone and let me be,
Let me cry by myself,
So I don’t have to hide all my shame,
Let me have the company of just me.
