Window

by Xtasy   Jan 13, 2005

The windowed room of reality
Beyond the room of dreams
Perceptions lie in every window
Nothing is what it seams

The first window was extremely foggy
Nothing was quite clear
I couldn't see beyond the fog
So I moved to the window near

This one however was very much cloudy
With the sun just peaking through
The clouds drifted away and left the sun
Brighter and brighter it grew

The next window was chilling and icy cold
Hard because it was frozen
By looking at it, It was hard to say
How often this window was chosen

One window nothing but grey
Another black and white
One filled with all the colors
Another filled with fright

My favorite window (the one I chose)
Is the painted sunkissed sky
The tranquil waters and sinking sun
As the other glimpses pass me by

Now choose the window that suits you best
The only one you'll see
Now do your best and match your world
Be all you can be
