Little Girl

by Charlee   Jan 14, 2005

The pain is so real
It hurts to much
The scares on her wrist have come back to life.
Stories and lies that haunt me everyday.
I wish they would go away so desperately.
People think I'm so perfect but if they look deep within my soul they would see a little girl hiding inside. A little girl so confused, so messed up and so hurt that she cries every night. She cries silent tears that only she can hear. And when her life gets to hard and she can't take it anymore she bleeds.
But the cuts she places on her wrist are no ordinary cuts. These cuts are filled with anger, love, pain, grief and lies. Why? well no one knows why she does these hurtful things, not even her self. She wishes that everything would get better for her, she wishes that the people she loves will stop hurting her and playing her and stop telling her lies. She has many friends that claim they love her. Some may mean it but some don't, she doesn't know who to trust. But to those who really do love her, do not fear to much. She is not out to kill herself. She only wants people to see what she is going though. But do not treat her differently. Treat her the same as everyone else. Just acknowledge her. No one is perfect, not even this Little girl! How do I know about this little girl? Cause this little girl is ME!

*hmm I now this isn't really a poem but sometimes in poems you can never say exactly what you mean...
