Thinking of You

by RCM   Jan 14, 2005

I was just sitting here thinking of you,
Thinking of all the things that you do.
Thinking about those cute little lips
Drinking tea in continuous drawn out sips.
The way that you walk,
And of course your talk
That seems to just go on for hours.
The way you arrange flowers
Brickbat, carpets, and drawers.
The cat on your lap when she digs in her paws.
The swing of your hips
And hey, I’m back to those lips.
You’re awfully cute
And I think it’s beaut
That you even go out with me.
I’m wrapped in your hair
While your skin it’s so fair.
The freckles and lines
To me they’re just fine
And when you dress up you are absolutely d-e-v-i-n-e.
A knockout of class in a package that lasts.
Stay as you are, don’t change a single thing
You be Dorothy and I be Bing.
I’ll croon you a tune
While you sit under the moon
Keeping an eye out for Bob.
The truth in all this as you can probably tell
Is I’ve finished my day and I just want to say
I think you’re a pretty good sort.
