My pain goes on,
So many years have past.
After all those surgerys,
It's amazing that I'd last.

The pain is rising,
I know it's coming.
How do I tell you all,
My hearts done running.

These next few months,
Will be very hard,
I'll make it up to see you.
This I know in my heart.

I tell you one thing,
Our last picture this will be,
With you and your brother,
For all to see.

You may not believe me,
But I know this now
I know this pain,
Yet I wonder how.

How will I see,
Your very first kid.
You at your wedding,
Next to your grandmother I would sit.

Your cousins weddings,
Your brothers too.
I'll be there at them all.
Watching all of you.

Every christmas,
Every thanksgiving.
There with you all,
In your hearts i'm still living.

I made it to your graduation,
My one goal before I die.
As you walk down that Aisle.
You began to cry.

You may not know this,
But I'll always be there.
In spirit and in mind.
My presence everywhere.
