Won't Let You Win

by CareBear   Jan 14, 2005

I want your arms around me
But what I want in this world doesn't matter
It doesn't matter to anyone
I get dragged around
Pushed and pulled just like a doll
You think I'm indestructable
Unable to be broken
But if you looked behind my fake smile you would see
I'm tattered and torn
Scared and alone
But you don't care
You just keep pulling me away
Away from everything I know
Away from anything I've let myself love
It isn't much for I've been hurt too much
I usually keep my distance
I don't want to lose what I have left
But you're tearing me away
I won't go without a fight
I won't let you win
For you see suicides the greatest sin
I won't let myself turn to that again
Although because of you I wish so hard to be dead
I won't let you win
I want to go home
I want to go some place I know
Some place with him
But you keep me here
One day I'll leave your side
I'll leave the prison you keep me in
I will return to him
I'll see his smile, once more I'll kiss his lips
Yes one day, one day I will
I won't let you win
And when I do return to the places I know
I'll stay forever
Be the people I love forever
I won't here
No there will be no you
I won't let you win
