Unfaithful

You lied, you cheated,
you've brought nothing but tears and sad days
but still I gave you another chance
did you take that chance to make it right?
No, you've ruined it once again!
i replay the lies in my head over and over again.
how could someone who I thought loved me
do the things you did?
What is love to you?
is love...a lie?....a cheat?
why would you risk losing what we have?
is it because you think i’ll give you another chance?
I don't have regrets falling in love with you,
my regret was giving you that second chance.
I should of known you couldn’t change.
I need someone who’ll love and protect me
not deceive and harm me.

One day when you see me happy with someone else,
remember, that could of been you.
You could of been happy,
you could of been truely loved.
Like they say “You don’t know what you have until its gone.”
I promise you, one day you’’ll catch yourself saying it in your head over and over agian.
It’s too bad you’ll realize it too late,
because I know if you tried, we could of been happy together,
the way we were at one point.
