Fading

You fade into the background as time slides by.
Another moment to haunt me in my dreams,
A chance to make amends and say my goodbyes.
Life is never what it truly seems.

The moment you came until the moment you left
My heart was mended and broken again.
My soul and mind was soemthing you possesed.
What you did with me should have been a sin.

Instead they praised you, for the hero you pretend to be.
When all you did was beat and abuse
for every bruise you laughed with menacing glee.
For every drop of blood you watched ooze.

Just forget me as you leave this dreadful place.
Just another position for power in your eyes.
All my marks are gone from you there is no trace.
You move on and fade away into another lie.
