this is how i have felt through life living with sexual abuse. i hope those of you who choose to comment are kind, and i also hope you all who have suffered the same thing can relate and find the light in the darkness.

It is so hard to comment on this
poem. Because it is writing very
good but what it says is so very sad.
I don’t and can’t even know how a
farther can think of this act, let alone
playing it out. Being a farther myself
it makes me cry knowing this is real
and divesting to young lives. I am so
sorry and wish I could bring you comfort.

thank you bogie, it means alot. i'm 32 years old, and sometimes i feel like i will never get over all those years of what he did to me, it affects everything i do, and akk the relationships i enter into. who knows? maybe someday it really will get better.

Powerfully sad poem. i am so sorry that you had to go through this. i have been lucky enough to not have to experiance such a thing but i personally know someone who has. the sad thing is that no one deserves it and it happends to the best of it. well done poem, totally grabs you.

Thank you for your comment. Sometimes you dont know yourself or what you are capable of. I cant honestly say that it is something i would do, but i know many like me feel the rage and desire to try to take back a little of their own power.
