Have you ever had you 4th last breath?

Do you ever have days,
Where you just want to cry?
Like life would be better,
If you would just die?

With all these emotions,
Trapped up inside?
Making you feel like,
You just want to hide?

Slash at your wrists,
Stab with a knife?
Screaming “Oh God,
Just please take my life!

“Send me to heaven,
To be with my one!
Come on death,
I dare you to come!”

With a tall glass of water,
And one to many pills,
You seem to drift off,
Until everything stills?

Darkness takes over,
You no longer have to drive?
Then you hear a voice,
“Thank God you’re alive!”

The light comes back,
And there you are at the wheel?
“Oh please God,
I don’t want to feel!!”

So the very next day,
You drive yourself to the store?
Slap down a prescription,
And say “Give me some more.”
