Why do you trust people?
Only to find they just let you down
When you think you can trust them with your life
You think your a good judge of character
Clearly I wasn't when I became your friend
You couldn't of stabbed the knife any more further in the back
I must say though,
You weren't the only one, there was him as well
Just when you start to get close
You think I would of learned by now
I made a promise to myself
I wasn't going to let myself get in that situation every again
I'm looking out for number one
I always try and see the good in people
And forget about the negative
I'm not going to be doing that anymore
I'm weighing both options up
I know Ill blame you,
The fact that you denied it, whenever I asked you
At least I would of known
And not turned into a laughing stock, for all my friends to see
Once again, the jokes on me
Never again will I let that happen to me
Only so much a girl can take, for it to happen three times already
One thing is for sure of what Ive learned from the past,
Things will never be the same between my friends and I
And I will be picky in picking my friends more closely
