Mother and Daughter

by Joanne   Jan 17, 2005

Mother:
When I feel the breeze flowing over me
I’ll always remember how you died so tragically.
I walk through the graveyard and I find it hard not to cry
Because every time I see your grave I can only wonder why?

Your ghost is haunting me and tearing me apart
The only place I can feel you now, is deep down inside my heart
I have my memories but I’d trade them all for you
Just to see you now, there isn’t anything I wouldn't do

Your death has shadowed every single life you touched,
And There’s not a single soul, a single life you left untouched
But you’ll always be my angel, my shining little star
But you’ll never hear me say this, so this dream has gone too far.

Daughter (from heaven):
Mother, why do you think that because I’m not there, I am not near
I always listen to the words you say and your dreams are all I hear
I know how much you miss me cause I can hear everything you say
Because every time you whisper a little cry comes my way

I will never give up on you mummy and I will never say goodbye
I will always stay with you and I hope in life you’ll always try
You deserve the best mummy, for everything you’ve done for me.
I neverver want to leave your side because I really love you mummy

When I hear your prayers, wishes, hopes and dreams
And All those tears you shed. They rip me to the seams
Mummy, please be strong, because I’ll be waiting here for you
Because whenever I see you smile, I know that’s exactly what you’d do.
