Ugly Eyes, Happy Lies

by Lushed   Jan 18, 2005

I'm about to take a look,
Into a pool of hate,
Reflecting every blemish,
I pray it's not too late.

Approaching it's surface.
Afraid of whats inside.
Wishing I could run away
Too determined not to hide.

I see her looking back now
I see what shes become
How could i let her be this?
The monster to which she's succumb?

Her eyes are filled with hatred
They're gleaming blue and cold.
Everything is ugly.
Shes sickly, tired and old.

Think no one sees the hatred?
Anger engraved inside your eyes
It shines brighter then your happy words.
And brighter then your lies.
