What is the Point?

by Michael D Nalley   Jan 18, 2005

What is the perilous point of any thought?
Pointing to the perplexing past or not
Points that are made sometimes persecute
The purpose of a Truth that is absolute

What's the point of living to die?
When we are just living a lie?
Did He live in peace, or speak His mind
Point to the Truth, or leave the truth behind?

The One Who came in Truth to be anointed
Was crucified by the lies of the disappointed
But the point of Light did not die
The temple of the Truth rose on high

Did they make a point, or was there any
The sins of the world are so many
What is the perilous point of missing your mark?
When the point was made that Light dispels dark
