You look back on memories
with only a picture as proof
sometimes you look back
and wonder where the time flew

you remember the days
and how you got where you are
you think of times back
now they seem so far

you miss what you had
and realize what you now do
a chance lost fills your heart
but a new beginning too

a time to look forward
and a time to look back
a time to love what you have
but miss what you had

you cant go back
time wont freeze
so the memories enter
back into the breeze

only to be remembered again in the future
