Look inside

by Hayley   Jan 18, 2005

Take a look inside
This little girl who’s got so much to hide…
She’s so close to given up…
Her pain isn’t hard to find…
Inside she feels so dead...
She just lies on her bed…
Wants to waste away...
For happiness, she won’t pray...
God has forgotten her
Days and nights there all the same, just one big blur
She can’t feel
So don’t ask her if her emotions are real
Blood trickles from her wrists,
Her life has got so many little twists
Her body is her sketch pad
She is so very sad
Her blade is her paint brush
Cutting gives her such a rush
So maybe you can't see,
but this little girl is me.
