More then a friend

by Molly Elizabeth   Jan 19, 2005

Reaching out
to a room of broken promises
mistakes were made
many times, hearts will break

Warm hearts, that beat with desire
now frozen and cold.
Pictures taken,
now faded and old.

Friendships formed
lost deep
but hearts within
they still sleep.

Leaves fall
tumble down trees.
You want nothing more
to do with me.

Started with a last dance
that finally had to end,
your eyes close
then open again
to find you've lost more
then a friend.
