Friend

Every thought of you seeps into my heart,
Filtrating the deep despise and hate.
A chanber where they mortify to start
Erasing thoughts until I've cleaned my slate.

For you I came to foresake, left morbid,
Like a slim pixy, thin, weak and forlorn.
Was it here you said my life you forbid?
Washed up like entrails of a fish, torn.

The void feeling of dismay within me,
Leaves eternal pangs from the dark delight.
Lamentation of sorrow flows so free.
Still, I do not cower in the nights fright.

Thoughts of loss bring on this mound of grief,
As always followed by sighs of relief.
