Truth

Am I that blind that I don’t see it? Or is it that I see it but I don’t want to believe it? I know I see it and I don’t want to believe it. I’ve seen it in her words, but I don’t want to believe it. I’ve seen it in his eyes, but I don’t want to believe it. I’ve heard it through his thoughts, but I don’t want to believe it. I’ve felt it in my heart, but I don’t want to believe it. Some things are meant to be kept behind closed doors, others kept for the people to find out. Either way, you don’t want to believe it. No one wants to hear the truth, because they don’t want to believe it. Nor do I want to believe it. You can’t buy your way into it, it just happens, but you don’t want to believe it. You see it when you open your eyes, but you don’t want to believe it. Even if you looked it straight in the face, you don’t want to believe it. You can make yourself believe whatever you want, but does that mean it’s the truth? Or do you make it the truth so that you can believe it?
