Inside And Outside: Two Of Me For Protection

Outside so full of light
Inside it looks like
The dead of night

Outside I smile and shine
Inside I tell you
I’m anything but fine

Outside are scars, though
That I try to hide
But sometimes they show

Inside then becomes outside
And where then can I go
When I want to hide?
