Can you see in to my hear
The blackness of my core
That is my biggest fear
That you’ll think I’m a w hore

I love you more than anyone
With your bottomless eyes
I can get lost there for fun
But I’m drowning in my pool of lies

You think I’m so innocent
But my heart is what I shield
It may appear to be decent
But only pains will it yield

I know it appears that I’m good
But my soul is gone and broken
Too many times have I stood
And rejection been spoken

My calloused heart is colder
Than anything you’ll see
Though you my love are bolder
And you really do love me

Your warmth and caring
Is getting through the shell
I may transcend about my scarring
But I will always be in hell

I love you so much now
That you will be my sun
I will be with you no matter how
Though I may be on the run

Only you can melt my heart
A barren frozen land
I will try and do my part
And gladly take your hand
