Best Friends

Feels like it has been forever,
you know for you I'll do whatever,
I know you feel like you cause me pain,
but your the one who makes me feel so much more sane.
That's what a best friend is supposed to do,
If you'll be there for me I'll be there for you.
I try my best to make you feel happy,
That's how a friendship is supposed to be.
I know that we have been through some hard times together,
but we managed to make it through the bad weather.
now for some reason I feel not so close to you,
I think it's because I never really see you,
It started when you went to Parma to live with your mom,
all I want now is for you to come home.
But now whenever you're here I still can't see you,
sometimes I can't even talk to you,
and it's not fair at all,
I try to be there to catch you when you fall,
without a friend around me I feel so small,
what's making it worse is now I have to move away,
and you know that I really want to stay.
People always want us to calm this down,
but for a while now I already had a frown,
see I don't really have any other friends like you,
when I leave I don't know what I'm going to do,
So I hope that we can have as much fun, laughter and crying together as we possibly can,
At least as much as we can stand.
I'm going to miss you the most of anyone,
but I hope that while I'm gone you can still have someone,
to talk to when you need some help,
I know I haven't really helped you though I have tried,
every time I heard my voice-mail and you cried,
It made me want to cry too,
only because he keeps on hurting you,
and I hope it doesn't continue,
I hope he realizes all the love he has for you,
so he can keep you, but if he doesn't please don't let him keep hurting you.
I only want the both of us to live happy lives,
even if we aren't in each others I don't want there to be any more crys.
I'm only writing this poem so you can keep it to remember me,
and remember what good friends we should be.
