When you look at me what do you see a young black female living in poverty
what are you doing waiting to see how it must be for me to live in poverty
so i ask my self looking to find my self
should i take the path thats put in front of me or should i make my own destiny
when you look at me what would you see the girl who made her own destiny or
would you see the girl who followed the path in front of her and it lead me to wisdom and riches of David and Solomon
but for now i'm still a young black female living in poverty trying to find me
