I'd be so helplessly lost
If you weren't here for me,
You've helped me so much,
And I just want you to see.

You help me through the day.
Just by thinking of you,
Whenever I'm in need,
You're there to help me through.

You're a gift from the Heavens,
From the almighty God himself.
He sent you to help me here,
Instead of someone else.

You're the perfect angel,
The one I do so love.
When I close my eyes at night,
You're the one I'm think of.

You're there to help me through,
And there to make me smile,
You're there to mend my heart,
To place the missing tiles.

Thank you for being there,
For being there for me.
I love you so very much,
And that's what I want you to see.

    really nice work on the poem. i think we all want to have a friend like that, i'd be really flattered if a friend of mine wrote something like that for me. in the 4th stanza u wrote *think*, when i'm pretty sure it's supposed 2 be *thinking*, i thought i'd mention it. if ya have any time, vote of comment on some of mine. thx!
